Does anyone have any experiences with their DA rear shocks? looking to get a set for my 69 Firebird and was thinking of QA1 or Strange, then heard about Viking.

Made in USA . Unlike qa1 who imports their springs and some components. Springs are also lighter than qa1

Are they a monotube shock or a twin tube shock? How would you compare them to Ridetech HQ's or Varishock?

they are a twin tube design. sorry i dont have any experience with ridetech or varishock, i know they are comparible to a qa1 in rebound and stiffer on compression if that helps. ill see if i can find out though,

I went with Viking shocks last year, very happy with them.
I was really looking for adjustability when i go to the track, they made a dramatic difference when i figured out the settings.Car is street /strip.

I agree, I went with AFCO'S and once u figure out the settings for the track they really will help the car get down it... I think I was finally getting a handle on mine at the end of the year I hope, lol
