Default Fast and Loud Pontiac vs LS1 & Pontiac vs Mopar

So it will be interested to see next week on Fast and Loud with the 2 races set up between Fast and Loud and Gas Monkey. It will be a Chiefs blown Pontiac vs Richards Hemi Mopar and then Farmtrucks 455 Pontiac Trans Am vs Aaron LS1 BMW. I want the Ponchos to but I don't know if they will. With the Gas Monkey having a profeesional driver against Chief. I think Chief has good reaction times but against a professional, he might freeze up. The Azian is going to be driving the Trans Am and I think Aaron is a better driver all around. Oh well at least OKC is putting the Pontiac name out there.

Chief will beat GMG, but that LS BMW will probably stomp all over that 76 T/A.

Didn't Richard put the Mopar into the wall on it's first test run?

I think it's cool that a (sort of) mainstream show is dedicating so much time to Pontiacs and Pontiac motors. Excited to see how the race turns out.

Well Chief and the Poncho smoked the dodge and that professional NHRA team. Chief definitely cut some good lights and put the NHRA team packing. I do think Chief tried to bully Richard into getting behind the seat in the dodge which would have been a total disaster for GMG. Richard would have either crashed, slept at the tree or blew the motor up. Good to see the Poncho make some good passes.
The race between Aaron and Farmtruck in the autocross course was surprising. Farmtruck is a better driver then I thought only losing out to Aaron and the BMW by 100s of a second. It also showed how torquey the 455 was turning through that ST10 and twisting those axle tubes on that rearend. All and all Ponchos made a good showing and hopefully imprinted on the younger minds watching. Well here is to another TV show upping the value on Pontiacs.

Agree- they drove the sh!t out of that 76 TA on the auto cross track. Assuming that didn't take 15 attempts (we'll never know-tv land) it's damn impressive that they took a stock suspension f body and kept up with a LS powered BMW.

As far as Chief goes that GTO was insane- god it was fast!

Farmbird 455 took 2 out of 3 events 1/4 mile stomped that LS BMW - Tug of War pulled that Beamer so easy = Pontiac Torque

Yes it was that close with a 78-81 WS6 T/A Suspension could have made a difference

That GTO - Big Chief was sure happy

PPTTFMF! Nothing better than shutting down ASS MONKEYS. Rawlings stated "Those guys drag race every single weekend, its what they do" Isn't that what his pro driver does? He and his rich buddy Dennis cried in their beers all the way home.
