Default 68 GM buckets/64-66 Console into 63 Lemans

Anyone have any tips as the seat mounting bolts are diff. Seen this setup at Norwalk last Aug.

Any help would be appreciated. TYVM, Robin

It's pretty much A try and air type of thing as far as fitting.
The 66-67 seats will help a bit as they are narrower still not,
sure how much room you'll have for the console as these cars,
Are narrow. I know it's not a lot of help but maybe it'll give you
An idea of what your getting your self into.

Thnx, at Norwalk Oh last yr, I seen a setup like this & liked the look.
Already called crazy Charlie Smith for assistance. lol
He's a rod / drag builder here in Champaign IL area.

Have 67 GTO seats in my 63 tempest with the factory floor shifter. Used a factory cloth and vinyl.

What I'm asking is more on the mounting of the seats. I didn't know that I needed to cut & remount the floor brackets to get these 68 seats installed. My 1st time doing this, I just didn't know what direction to take.

Anyone else's help is appreciated.

Thnx Stan. I took 2 pics of that cars interior @ Norwalk . Guess I should change out pedals to 66-67 w Ss trim while I'm at it (having int out) among a list of other items....

My old drag racing friend looked at the 68 seats in place today and is making me a bracket to mount the seats in the front. Will use a hard plastic biscuit on 1 of the rear legs for side to side leveling. I will try to post some pics (any info on formatting is welcomed).
