Here is a pic I took in my junk yard. The trans on top is out of a '60 Catalina, it has the separate bell as do the '59 and older ones. The trans on the bottom is out of a '61 Catalina. This is the roto-hydro or slim jim. It has a wider bell housing pattern ('61 and '62) than the '60 and older and cast in bell housing and no converter. Hopefully this will help some of you ID this stuff. thanks, Steve www.pontiacheaven.org
