If only GM had the time to develop that hood before releasing the `04, I think all the negative feedback would have been halved...

I am looking at getting the new GTO within the next couple months. Is that hood going to be an option?

That hood is aftermarket. The only options for the GTO are color and Transmission.

Pretty good looking hood.. But IMHO I think a 65-67 style hood scoop would look better.

I think it looks to small for the hood.

I believe the 68-69 style hood scoops look the best on the 04 GTO. The 05 GTO will have scoops similiar to the 68-69, but larger and more towards the front of the hood.

I agree. It's not a retro car. Make a hood updated 30 years.
