Well, on the late 2nd gens birds you need to remove the radiator, timing chain cover, and everything inbetween. To get the cam in, and old one out, you will have to unbolt the bracket on the radiator support that has the horns attached and move ot off to one side. I pull the botton bolts because they are easiest to reach. You have to move it quite a distance to get the cams in/out. Other than that its straight forward.

Removing the intake is obvious right? I use alot of assembly lube on flat cams. I like the Sealed Power stuff that has MolyB in it, red in color. A cam swap for me takes around 4-6 hours, a converter is less but I have been doing them for ages.

just keep in mind how soft the cam bearings are...remove and install gently like defusing a bomb...you can dent those bearings with the edges of the cam very easily...dont forget to fill the converter with a bit of fluid although i believe the fluid will fill the converter when you refill the tranny...seat the converter correctly...dont fire dry converter...ive done both alone, but having a friend help will speed things up...
