Default Upper & Lower Door Hinge

What other makes and models door hinges that fit the Can Am? Or is there a repair kit that includes the spring for the upper hinge?

I am parting out a 77 Buick Century at the moment, the car only has 67,000 miles on it, and the door hinges are very nice. $50.00 a pair (upper & lower) shipped to you.
As for other makes models that will fit, any GM Midsize (Lemans, GTO, Grad AM, Buick Regal , Century, GS, Olds Cutlass, Chevey Chevelle, Malibue, Laguna, El Camino) from 73-77 will work. The front door hinges on 4-door's & Wagons are the same as 2 door hinges.

I am not shure if the G Bodie hinges are the same, GP, Monte, cutlass supream, and the 76 & 77 Regals.

I believe that the G-bodies use the same hinge.

G-body hinges are easy to find, if I knew for sure that they fit, I would pick up a complete set. Anyone know for sure if they fit?

They are identical. 4 door and wagon front hinges are the same also.

Also, even if you find some upper hinges with good rollers and levers on them, you might want to go ahead and install new pins and bushings in them before installing on your car, so they'll be like new. If you do that, I suggest you buy a door hinge spring tool beforehand, like the one at this link: http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/ta87675.html . Those springs are really hard to reinstall without a tool like this. I did mine not long ago and never did find a good way to get the spring back on the hinge without the tool. But I didn't have time to order one, so, after seeing the picture of the tool, I made something that works the same way and then it only took a couple minutes to install the spring. Better to just have the tool to begin with, especially since it's cheap .

It never fails, I can find hinges for just about every model GM built, except the ones I need. Anything other than the G-bodies fit?

No.

1973-1977 A or G body hinges are your only choice.

TA-71,

The Century is going away on wendsday, as that is when the permit I have expires, if you want the hinges, let me know asap. I was not planning on removing the doors, and will need a cuple of hours to do so.

If he doesn't want them, will you pull a spring off for me? Just one little front hinge spring?

bastard,

I have a front hinge spring still attached to the rusty Pwr window doors I have taking up space in the guarage. If you don't mind some ugly green paint on it. $10.00 shipped to Arkansas.

My car is already painted ugly green. Actually it is one of the few shades of green I can stand to look at. I'm not sure what the name of the color is, it is a dark green metallic. The inside of the trunk lid looks very nice.
PM sent.

I ordered the all the hinge rebuild kits listed in ames& original part group. bushings never fit .finally 1 day had to rebuild the hinges on my 95 tahoe . just out of currosity i tried the tahoe bushings and low and behold they were exact ,rebuilt my existing driver door top hinged ....I also used the spring rebuild kit I had to modify it. the roller was to narrow for hinged ,the piece with the hold open notches .so i hit it on the ginder till it fit in the roller works fine
