Default Missing 1972 455HO Motor/T400 Bowie, MD

I bought a 72 Trans Am which the motor and trans were removed in the early 80's for rebuild. They never came back

I have a long block...a YB block. I will check the numbers on it. Just missing carb/dist and exhaust manifolds. PM if a YB will work.

Try Timmy Mallory: Warchief, a member on here.

He has or had one last I heard.

Hes in Bowie also off Rt 50 not far. He knows a couple of other Pontiac guys from Bowie/Upper Marlborough as well.

Gary Cave would be a good contact, his info is on the GTOAA site under Technical Services or something like that for 70 PAINT AND BODY....iirc

Hes moved from Camp Springs (Andrews AFB) but had a number listed on GTOAA magazine, maybe online. One of the biggest Pontiac collectors in the Hobby and he doesnt post on forums.

I know a few other race / show guys in MD that have or had run /restored Pontiacs but older guys who dont post online. PM me for more leads.

Good luck.

Jeff
