Is this a scam?
I received an e-mail today saying my Apple ID had been updated but as far as I know I don't have an Apple ID or account. I don't have any Apple products but I did just get a new Samsung/ Verizon running on Android. Here is a copy of the e-mail. I deleted part of my name and e-mail address just for the sake of it. I just noticed this change was made on March 2 2022 but as of this posting it is March 1.
