Here is the first bolt on, 12-1 Crank Trigger kit for Pontiacs.
USA Designed and Made

I called companies and they had no interest in making one for us so I decided I would and I wasn't going to keep it in house or a secret.

I am not a retail company, I am a life long Pontiac guy and had this custom made for my GTO due to the Holley dual sync timing issues and figured I'd offer this to others after all the time and money needed to pull it off since it was a lot of both. There are some questions I might not know but hopefully can help with over time.

I do NOT know if this will work on the 455, others with more knowledge of part similarities can chime in. This is one area I'm not familar with but will update over time.

The kit does NOT come with the hall effect sensor.
Does NOT come with mounting bolts
Does NOT come with the power steering bracket spacer
**There is a chance I will be able to offer the power steering bracket spacer next in the P2 kit. My GTO mechanic kept his template for my GTO.

12-1 aluminum trigger wheel with 11 magnets pressed in
Aluminum timing cover bracket for the sensor bracket
Aluminum L bracket threaded for sensor
Aluminum water pump spacer

12-1 Wheel Details...
Trigger wheel is 7 1/4" and 5/8" thick
The trigger wheel has the correct 4 bolt spacing and has many many hole options. It also has the correct center Crank bolt opening to slide on.
My Fluidampr balancer is 6 5/8"

Water pump spacer...
If you have the 4" water pump, use the spacer.
But by going to the 4.5" water pump you will not need the spacer as I have done this very pump swap and it worked out nicely.

Power steering bracket spacer
You will need to space it roughly 5/8" thick, I might be able to make this part soon and offer it for all.

Alternator bracket
This will need to do 2 things...
The bracket to block hole modified (Pic 5)
The accessories side requires a small 5/8th cylinder spacer for the bolt (picture of mine).

I run a Holley HP and it's been great, faster start up and dead nuts timing. I used the dual sync distributor and ditched the crank feature, Holley has the wiring pin mods you'll need to run the Hall Effect.

Kit version 2 (P2) with the power steering bracket spacer is gonna happen, got the template from my mechanic and it's at the CNC shop.

You'll need to modify your alternator bracket or go to the piston mounting version for ease of pulley/belt alignment.
