Default My First Poncho

Just obtained this 1969 Tempest Custom S drag car. I am 22 years old in Warren Michigan and purchased the car in Livonia Mi. Needs a lot of work to make it more streetable but the car is pretty mint body wise. 460 Pontiac stroker motor with plenty of nice parts. Ill be having plenty of questions for you guys. But luckily this forum seems to be the best Pontiac based one on the web.

Most excellent, nice looking car. And ... you have mostly the fun stuff to do rather than a bunch of PITA restoration work.

to the forums, nice little car, there is a wealth of informative people here to help you if you need it. The racing forums are very helpful, people here are always willing to help a Poncho Brother or Sister lol.

Very cool car and even cooler to see a young person get into an old Pontiac!

Welcome. It looks like you made a great score there. Here's mine, I used to live in Warren on Eiffel until recently. Hope you get your toy dialed in soon. Great looking Poncho. Lapeer is all new too.

Nice ride and welcome!
That car originally came with a 350 HO and it was a giant killer!
Here's one taking it to a 440 Road Runner (Custom S has the black roof)….

Congrats on your latest grab. Love that paint job! =)
