Default Valve stem seals

Ok so just received from summit comp cam 618 viton seals .They have the viton valve seal but differ in the way their guides, there is no viton at that area just all metal .They are .530 and would slide over the guide with seems like good force.I would like to send them back undamaged before trying to install. So has anyone used these on the edelbrock head ?

Those are high quality seals made by US seal in Michigan. Excellent oil control, but allow a little oil to the guide for lubrication. I would use them. Can be slightly difficult to install if you don't have a proper installer. Without an installer, take the seal and gently roll off the garter spring from the top of the seal. Go to your tool box and find a 12 point 3/8" drive deep socket that will just clear the blue viton top of seal and rest snug on the top of the metal jacket. Oil the guide top and the metal shield. Gently tap the seal on nice and straight. Roll the garter spring back on and your done. Great seals.

Besure to lube the guide with some wheel Bearing grease or such which will help greatly in getting the seals on.
