Moser street axles A102802 8.2/8.5 10 bolt 28 spline
Anyone know if the Moser street axle can take the stock 7/16-20 wheel studs? I only see 1/2 studs in the description. Some picture I have found look like they are drilled for two seperate stud sizes.

Their street axles are very hard strong steel. I have a pair of 9" 31 Spline Ford Moser Axles
that took almost 6 hours to remove 1" from each axle. (3 hrs per axle). For a F-Body 8.2/ 8.5 application, I think I would look for the 8.5" axle housing if it would fit properly under the vehicle. I have no luck with 8.2 axles surviving and decent power. Left Cap breaks. Tom V.

I have their axles. I'm not making STUPID power, but it's pretty stout. I'm not sure if the studs are "factory", but the take a stud that has the factory bolt thread size. Unfortunately, the Wilwood kit that I have is a different thread size and lug nuts were a PITA to source that would work with the snowflakes.

I use Mosier 28 spline in my 8.5 and they have been fine for decades, and LOTS of runs in the 1.59-1.64 60' range. I pulled them once for inspection as I paint a white line on them and they haven't twisted at all.
Mine have the stock 7/16" studs in them and stock bolt pattern for the Ralley Wheels.......

I'm another one that uses the Moser C-clip street axle in my 12 bolt. Not only are they better steel than stock, but they are also "non" taper which makes them quite a bit stronger as well. I use stock studs in mine.
I've been running them in the Chevelle for probably the better part of 25 years now. It weighs 4,108 lbs and cuts 1.5 60 foot times. I don't even worry about the axles. |

Sorry for hijacking this, but does Moser make 8.5 axles for rear disc setups for 2nd gen WS-6 TA's?
