Bracket for transmission TV cable with stock accelerator cable
I went to install the bracket for the TV cable, for my overdrive transmission, only to see that the post on the intake that holds one of the bolts for the old accelerator cable bracket is right in the way of the TV cable itself.. Has anyone created or purchased a bracket that holds the original accelerator cable and a new TV cable? I'd rather keep the original accelerator cable if possible.

Hey 66sprint6……. Does this help…? Although with the stock cable I am unable to get WOT.......SMDH. Are you using a stock intake?

I am running an RPM intake that had a Tall Boss in the way of the bracket for the TV cable. So I took that Boss off and now will have to address the situation of mounting the throttle cable myself.

That was exactly the problem that I had. Mine is a Performer intake and the bolt boss for the original throttle bracket was in the way. I ground it off and everything worked fine after that. This is a Holley Demon carb that came with the bracket for throttle and TV cable. I have three Performer intakes from various engines that I’ve collected, so I wasn’t worried about altering this one.
