Default Dynomax VT 17959 Availability

Hi Guys, tried finding these to buy but. Summit & Jegs don't have them. Any idea who would. They need to be shipped to Australia. Have the dreaded killer drone with my Pypes Racepros. Looks like the 17959 is dimensionally similar to the Pypes muffler. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dynomax has pretty much discontinued the vt line of mufflers due to complaints of rattling.

They have some VT models on Ebay. You could always set up a search reminder and do some waiting.

Tom
I need mufflers for my 67 400 - approximately 500hp - I want little no back pressure - not to loud as I have a convertible.
How do the 949s and 962s flow compared to the Race Pros and do they fit on the GTO with X pipe.

Tom- how much shipped to 55014-- you can PM me.

Interested in any comments, experience and opinions.
Thanks
Mark

Default mufflers

Mark, sorry for not seeing this sooner. I only visit this site now and then. The mufflers I have are oddball configurations. One is center in center out and the other is center in offset out. Neither would be a drop-in on an A-Body GM. What sort of set up (muffler orientation) do you have now?
Tom

Hello Tom,
Thanks for your reply.
I need 2 1/2" offset in and offset out- 67 x pipe with HO exhaust manifolds large pipe and downpipes to 2.5" x system.
I need mufflers to complete the system.
Thank you

Did they correct the valve rattling issue on the VT?
