The Super Chiefs make good power if done right.
My buds engine made close to 900hp with them;back in 2001. The machine shop we use even has a CNC program for them. Getting a good casting,that`s another story. Good luck to Len.He is a great guy,and has a wealth of knowledge.

I just went on Wenzler's site and his prices are really low. $2149 with T&D shaft rockers for the Super chiefs.

When people tell me they HAD to sell their car when they started a family, I show them the three car seats in the back of my 69Trans-Am..............and we didn't even use car seats back then!! |

On a related note- I see that the 2019 Engine Masters Challenge has J-E Pistons as a major sponsor. I think it's awesome that J-E has been making custom pistons since 1912!

Anybody else on this planet campaign a M/T hemi Pontiac for eleven seasons? ... or has built a record breaking DOHC hemi four cylinder Pontiac? ... or has driven a couple laps of Nuerburgring with Tri-Power Pontiac power?(back in 1967) |
