Wade,
I was just made aware of BOP's intent to sell the SIMS Roller Cam Thrust bearing. Awesome! I did a video of installing said system, on my youtube channel. I've been getting a lot of inquiries as to where to buy it. And, I didn't know what to tell people... at least I do now. Can you let me know when you list the SIMS set on your site, I can then add a link to my video description. Here's the video, if you'd like to use it. https://youtu.be/jKpk64KWqag (Basically the 3:50 mark) Mike Last edited by Fastmonty; 07-14-2020 at 05:30 PM. |

Wade,
Thanks! Yeah, the video's are a journey through my Pontiac experience, just sharing my failures and successes for others to learn from. I updated the details section of the video to include BOP's phone number, and ebay link. I actually mention you guys in other videos too... like the re-usable oil pan gasket, distributor gear, and other Pontiac things I can't remember right now. Ha, ha... Please feel free to share my channel with whomever needs some guidance... |

Obviously a large cost consideration over a typila roller set up. Are there any advantages to going this route with a mild street build???

RW,
Maybe, maybe not... check out this article on the subject; https://www.hotrod.com/articles/hppp...haft-retainer/ If you're in the middle of a build, check out my youtube channel for a whole bunch of how-to's, mainly around rebuilding a motor, and just started a TREMEC install. www.youtube.com/fastmontysgarage Have Fun! |

I love Fast Monty's videos.. I'm rebuilding a 72 Firebird and stroking the original 350 to 414. I'll be getting this Torrington setup, serpentine system, and lots of AN fittings thanks to his inspiration. keep it up man!
