POA valve finish
Does anyone know what the correct original finish is on the POA valve? - I'm thinking it was zinc plated but not sure. I had mine emptied out and welded back together, but want it plated correctly. Here is what i am doing. https://www.shopcenturyautoair.com/s...it_POAELM.html It comes back painted, which is what i expected. I would like to get it plated to the correct finish.

You are correct, the original finish was clear zinc. They also had a gray paint sealer around the welded area. Classic Auto Air restores POA valves and will restore the original finish.

The site seems geared to aftermarket AC systems and not factory AC parts Do you have s link for the POA refinishing from them? |

Look here. https://originalair.com/restoration-gm-poa-valves I chose to eliminate the internals and go with the temperature cycling.
