I bought another 2+2
Not what I was looking for, but you have to take what's out there.
I just bought this rust free 65 2+2 in CA. The 421 is long gone. It was originally a special order color Verde Green (has the extra trim tag and PHS to prove it). Has a few nice options too.

TOTALLY kick A$$!!! I found a beat up 66 Bonne behind the liquor store. The badges had it with a 421 or 428 I can't remember. I popped the hood, that engine was long gone too. The heads were stamped 4X. Turned out to be a 400. I wanted that car so bad.... The guy towed it away. Never returned any of my calls. I hope he didn't junk it.
You are right, get it while the gettings good. There isnt much out here on the east coast. Beautiful car!!!!!!!

Beautiful car. I like the color. Especially with the white interior. Reminds me of my step dads 65 Bonneville Convet that got me hooked on these cars.

Those hub caps are not that bad. Heck those are what mine originally came with. Oh wait yeh I did throw those in the trash.  I noticed no red line on the tach. Any Idea of the production date? Now all you need is a 4 speed set up. What Gear ratio? Posi? patrick
