VERY rare! A chapter member just picked one up from another chapter member who finally let it go.

31,711 Grand Prixs built in 1968, and only 306 of them had a manual transmission. I don't know if breakdowns for four speed/428 cars are available, but they will be some fraction of that 306.

like 9/10ths or so...I'm betting. Never have seen a 3-speed or a 400 4-speed. Had a '69 400 4-speed/air car. Love the '68's .One pulled into our lot when I worked at Jeg's and all the young salesmen didn't believe it wasn't a custom car. Made me feel old...yet privileged! Also passed on a Black/black '67 2+2 428 HO car for $2k because it needed an exhaust.

Let me know if you decide to pass on it. That's a bucket list car for me.

Hoping it's Verdon green...

Keith, I hope you get a pic of the Trim Tag and take down the VIN for posterity.
Someone may want to send for a PHS on that.

I'm still hoping to find the triple black HO stick car I looked at in MI years ago....

I don't know why I like them, but I do.

OK,,, didnt hear from the owner all weekend. Spoke with him today & am going to look at it tomorrow. Sounds like its in worse shape that I first belived. Car has been sitting for some time. Someone stole a couple of trim rings off of it. Car is totally complete EXCEPT,,, engine & trans are gone! Tilt wheel, vinyl roof, was dark green & now is red. Has 8 lugs with spare tire & wheel. Buckets, console etc, etc. Also, radio is missing. Dont need another project but cant pass on it. He wants well under a grand for it. Picture to follow.

"Ran when parked" except for that pesky missing engine\transmission, broken glass, missing dash, etc... ;-)

Is it even a '68? I can't count how many times I've gone to look at '67-68 GPs and ended up staring at a 1962-1963 Bonneville\Catalina or even one time a Cougar...

Ok,, Saw the car today. Needs TOTAL restoration. Have pictures but cant get them out of my camera. Computer is still messed up & everything I save to pictures I cant access. Working on it. He is asking $800 bucks. Hideaways are there & appear to be complete. Interior is in rags, at one time it was black. All the 8 lugs are there including the spare. Only 2 trim rings. Steering wheel is green & not cracked. Radio is gone but dash is uncut. Does have tilt, buckets & console. What he thought was a manual trans car is really an automatic shifter.. Motor is long gone. Went to the scrapper. All the stainless & potmetal pieces appear to be in real decent shape but in need of a good polishing. Cant read the vin number on the dash. Pretty rusted there. Also has some rust in rear wheel well lips. Right side has damage from the front fender through the rear 1/4 but can be hammered back out. Was a vinyl top car but its been removed. All the top trim is there. Front bumper looks ok but the back is dented. Can be repaired. has all the glass. Hood has a dent in the center & not mounted. This would be a great parts car for someone doing a restoration. Way to far gone for me. I am going to pass on it. Dont have the time, energy or $$$ to put it back together.
