According to the back issues available on their web site this mag has been published for a year, or maybe two as they are listed as Vol 2. I got an ad card in the mail the other day- print copy is subscription $49.95 US.

We have been publishing since December of 2015. We had been doing a lot of promotion on social media and the internet but were finding that there were still a lot of people who hadn't heard of us, which is why we kicked it old school and did a direct mail piece. As for the quality of the publication, you can judge for yourself- we have been doing a free 30-day test drive of our digital version. Just go to http://ponchoperfection.com/premium-magazine-area/ and it will take you to the signup are. It does ask for your PayPal information but it will not bill you for 30 days. You can then see all of the issues we have done so far and make the call for yourself. Be sure to check out the mastheads of the issues- there are a lot of familiar names there. After 30-days, it will charge you $2.99 a month, so if you cancel before that, it won't cost you anything. The print and digital versions are identical in appearance and content.

This magazine stands along High Performance Pontiac and Pontiac Enthusiast in terms of editorial quality and scope. We print on high-quality paper and ship them in polybags. I sincerely hope that all of you at least check out the magazine and decide for yourself. We have been working very hard on it and we are proud of the results. If you have any trouble with logging in (some browser security can cause issues), e-mail me personally at donaldjkeefe@aol.com or call at 585-489-9826 during normal business hours and I will take care of the situation. Leave a message as needed with your phone and email and I will respond within 12 hours at the most.

I appreciate the kind words about Poncho Perfection and hope you give us a fair chance to earn your business.

Poncho Perfection is an excellent magazine and definitely fills the void left by HPP and PE.

First I've heard of the magazine. After going on the website and seeing the past issues covers would it be safe to say that this magazine is a continuation of Pontiac Enthusiast or HPP? What I'm really asking is; Would you be doing articles on say a stock 1932, 302 Pontiac or a stock 1950 Chieftain Deluxe Custom Catalina for example???

Just signed up guys to the hard copy magazine. Was thinking about getting the on line subscription, but then it's a bit difficult on a phone and the can. Somehow physical things just work well - just like vintage American Muscle. It's great to see the forums still very much alive as work has kept me prisoner. Way too many projects and don't mean to accost this thread, but I thought I might share a project. - maybe Don would be interested.

Close to being done - well parts of it...I think.

best
mike

Hey Don, my subscription is about to run out. Will I get a renewal notice?

The poly bags are great!

Yes, you will- the first batch of subscriptions will be expiring in May. You can call in to renew if you like.

Poncho Perfection is my favorite among the 5 car magazines I receive. 4 are monthly and one is quarterly.

I wish you'd post (to your site) at least one sample issue (maybe from 6 or 8 months ago, or something), so we can see what it looks like before we sign up. I don't like having to sign up first, to get the 1 free month. It sorta feels like my information is being data mined.

i do agree with this. i looked the site over in great detail yesterday. a full issue would be great to sample. $50/year (for printed) isn't what i would call cheap for a magazine and knowing what you're getting would be nice.

I assure you that there is no data mining going on- it is just the format that the WordPress application uses. If you don't like the magazine, just cancel and your info goes no further.
