Wow! I had a red '65 Chevelle. Not quite like that obviously.

I remember reading one went new to Dan Blocker. Red also. What a Holy Grail of a barn find. Not a hubcap person, but I really like those mag style ones.

Nice find no matter what brand you are loyal to.

Back in 70 and 71, I had a 65 Chevelle Malibu convertible, red with a white top, red interior, bench seat, 327 4 speed. Even though the 66 too 70’s are more popular, I love the 65’s

Nice story shame it sat for so long. For some reason I had those wheel covers on a '70 6cyl Dodge Challenger I owned back in '76.

It's interesting that the Z-16s came with the AM-FM multiplex stereo option. That must have been a rare option in any case back then, and it's not what I would have expected to be included on a car meant for performance.

Those had 11" front drums from the factory too - something all A and F bodies could have used badly.
Question was how Chevy did this; Impala spindle with modded upper arms and steering arms or modded backing plate for use with A spindle??? |
