Question 68-69 M20 Muncie vs 77-78 T-10 M21 BW ?

These do interchange freely right? Which one do you prefer? Which is stronger?

I have not owned any T-10 cars but don't they use a larger TH400 sized output shaft?
If I run a old M20 in a 78 car , It should hook up like a th350 as far as driveshaft requirements and crossmember.

Super T-10's DO have the larger (TH400) outtput shaft & fine spline input.

Dimensionally they WILL interchange,same mount/crossmember,driveshaft length,etc.

If you are in the habit of side-stepping the clutch pedal OR shifting WITHOUT IT,your Pontiac 400 or 455 is capable of breaking EITHER!

The Super T-10s with the taller low gear ratio's ARE inherently WEAKER.

SuperT-10's (for the most part) will be 10 years NEWER than MOST Muncies,so it's possible that you'll get a "tighter" or lower mileage unit.

Muncies shift a little nicer/smother than the ST-10.
