I AM SELLING MY 1971 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX MODEL J (ITS SHOWS A SJ BADGE WHICH IS REMOVABLE) .....IT'S BEEN FULLY RESTORED ALL AROUND (I PUT 600 MILES SINCE RESTORATION FINISHED IN 2008)... IT HAS A 400 CUBIC INCH THAT HAS BEEN BORED AND STROKED (EAGLE STROKER KIT) TO 467...870CFM HOLLEY CARB....TURBO 400 FULLY REBUILT AND HIGH PERFORMANCE TORQUE CONVERTER....355 REAR END RATIO....HOUSE OF COLOR PAINT "LUCERNE BLUE CODE 26 LETTER CODE F"....INTERIOR FULLY REDONE..TOO MUCH TO LIST (THE CAR IS KEPT IN A HEATED GARAGE) I HAVE ALL OF THE DOCUMENTATION OF THE WORK DONE...I INVESTED A HUGE AMOUNT ON THIS VEHICLE "65K"....I AM ASKING $28.000...BUYER IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR TRANSPORTATION OF THE VEHICLE....

I sure wish my '72 was that nice! But I gotta tell ya, it's going to be a long time before you see that kind of money from a GP. I know of a few locally nearly as nice for well under 10k. Sorry to say, but when you put that kind of money in a GP, it should be for your own benefit with no intent on recovering your investment upon sale.
Not trying to be mean or insensitive, just stating facts. The reason I've been daily driving my '71 Lemans Sport is because I'll never recover what I've invested in it. So I got my value by DRIVING it. And have done so year round since 2009. It IS a super nice car, though. If you want to sell it, you will encounter a SUBSTANTIAL loss. Not saying it's not worth the price, just that the market for GPs won't support it. |

I understand where you are coming from. I know what I have invested I will not recover, so i figure it will sell for a fraction of what is invested into the car..... why not give it a shot....
