Have a '69 GTO AT (column), w/o AC, w/ PS. I am not sure if I need an idle stop solenoid or not.
I do have the throttle cable bracket and the starter solenoid bracket still attached to the intake manifold, but the original carb is long gone. I have an exact replacement, but no brackets. Is an idle stop solenoid hard to come by? What is its purpose? I plan on upgrading to HEI distributor and electrical fuel pump if that matters.  1969 GTO Restoration
