It sold to Barrett Jackson CEO, Craig Jackson, for 1.1 Million. Info below. VIN number 001 of the long awaited 2020 Shelby GT500 was just sold at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale for a whopping $1.1 million. The buyer was none other than the CEO of Barrett-Jackson Auctions, Craig Jackson. Edsel B. Ford II and Aaron Shelby were on hand to promote the car and the cause its sale benefitted: funding research of Type 1 diabetes in children. This sale contributes to Ford’s $3.5 million in annual donations to JDRF, a leader in the funding children’s diabetes research. Tom V.
