Hello everyone!
If this is the wrong spot for introductions I apologize, new to the site.
I'm new to Pontiacs and the forum, to get things rolling let me tell my Pontiac story. Last year a buddy of mine found a 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix for sale at a junkyard. Him knowing that I was a GM enthusiast he twisted my arm to go look at the car. After looking at the car and speaking with the junkyard, I found that they were going to crush the car if nobody bought it as it had been sitting for sale for a couple months. I then struck a deal with the junkyard and I became the proud owner of a 1967 Grand Prix for $900. Like most cars from 60s there's rust here and there but overall I think it's solid enough to be worth saving, with the majority of rust that I can see being in the trunk and rear window. I'm sure there's more hidden surprises but it runs and is able to move so that's a plus. Like most car guys I have a couple other projects so the GP will be on the backburner for some time, but I'm currently studying Autobody at a technical college so I might chip away at the rust issues as I become more confident in my skills. That's pretty much where I'm at for now, looking forward to getting to know the site.
Thanks,
Jonny
