Cleaning inside oil breather cap / ATF for PS

Merry Christmas to everyone!!

2 quick questions if I may….

1st
I want to clean the inside of my oil breather cap on my ‘65. 389
Anybody ever do that?
If so how did you do it, if at all?

2nd
What ATF do you guys use in your power steering reservoir??
