I first bought a set of OER seals and found them to be very stiff. I felt like I was going to break my hinges every time I slammed the doors. I allowed them to set for a couple of months and still no change. After doing some research on the net, I purchased some Metro Seals from A1usa and boy what a difference. They are made of a much more compliant material and feel much more like the originals.

I found a set of GM from Ames. Made a difference and they are not cheap.

I have the same issue with the ones installed on my 76 TA. The doors shut fine before installing the new OER WS, now... not so much. The doors stick out about 1/4 of an inch. I've been told you can use a heat gun to soften them up. I plan on giving that a try.
