Changing valve covers with air conditioning
I want to switch out the edelbrock valve covers for originals. Can I do this w/o removing ac parts? It looks like it can be done, but not real easily.

I don't think it's possible.

Not without taking the A/C compressor out of its mount.

If you mean without breaking into the refrigerant, yes it can be done. By removing the V shaped bracket that covers the valve cover and taking the belt off and laying the compressor over to the inner fender. I've done it before and it's just time consuming is all, but no need to remove the refrigerant.

Ditto. Here is the 70 GTO with no ugly Edelbrock covers. Same process with my current 71.
