Bracket Identification
I have been going through a lot of my Pontiac brackets and trying to identify them and I cannot find out what this one fits. Looks like it might be an a/c bracket or even an alternator bracket. Of course no part numbers can be found on it. Thanks.

That kinda reminds me of a chevy alt. bracket maybe?

Thanks for the input, I guess it could be a chevy bracket, but I can't figure how I ended up with it. I haven't parted out anything other than Pontiacs. I don't understand why some brackets have part numbers on them, and some brackets do not. Guess I will try to dig a little deeper on the Chevy side to see if I can find a match.

1970's Olds small block alternator bracket - non-Firebird type. This set came off a 350 Olds in a '77 Buick.
Here's a set I restored. Olds alternator brackets2 by Ben, on Flickr Olds alternator brackets1 by Ben, on Flickr Last edited by Red80TA; 12-21-2023 at 08:49 AM. |
