Always good to take a picture of parts before you send them out for any sort of service. Couldn't understand why the front speaker just would not fit (after cramming my fat ass under the dash). The bracket was reinstalled backwards. Turned that around and..........bingo!
While I was waiting for a transporter to show up yesterday, I started cleaning the original brake hoses from the car. The blue paint on the rear hose is an interesting detail. Anyone ever see that before? |

I found a couple more original parts for the 71 as of recent. An original set of rear shocks, and NOS air filter. I also recently bought a new camera so I was getting familiar with it today...........so I snapped a few pics of the car.

Such a cool car and after looking at the floors suspension parts etc it kind looks like the condition of my car kinda makes me want to leave it alone rather than restore. After all it’s only original once.
