He was transported to the hospital, but I haven't found information on whether he was hurt badly or if it's just for observation.

I heard he ran a 3.77 the pass before, so yes that hemi is running!

Any update on his physical condition? I heard that he got out of the car on his own but no details beyond that. Hope he is okay. That was a hard landing.

Best, 11.39 @118, my son's car. 79 T/A w/463, Scat crank, Eagle rods, Icon pistons, Lunati solid roller, 262/270, KRE 325 heads, Northwind intake, QF950 carb, full interior, ps, pdb, th350, and 3.73 gears. Pump gas, 3650 lbs. race weight. 10.68 @ 126 so far... no tuning yet. |

I hope he has a full recovery and is able to get back in a car at some point. That looked like a rough ride.

Lucky to be alive.
After it bounced the first time at 1/2 track the run should have been over. Very lucky that the car basically was on a shuttle glide path 30+ feet off the ground and landed flat. Guy needs to go to church and say a prayer thanking the man up stairs. Tom V.

JC, running either 3s or 4s shouldn't the car have wheelie bars? Prayers for Tommy and family.
