A power window in my 93 GMC Van only works for a few seconds. After it sits sits a while it will work again. I assume the motor is overheating and then shutting down until it cools. I ruled out the switch because it fials in both directions.
Looking at aftermarket parts on the Internet, it appears that the motors are a "one-size fits all" in that several years and several GM vehicles use the same part. Is that true? Are the aftermarket motors OK or should I get a more expensive GM part? Jim |
