What is the correct timing chain cover for 72? How many timing marks are on them? I have a bunch of earlier covers, and they have different increments on them, are these the same? Thanks

WOW, Lloyd, that is one nice looking engine compartment. Did that paint burn off the heads near the exhaust ports? if not, what paint did u use?

Lloyd, that looks great! But I was wondering on the number of timing marks, I have some covers the have different increments marked on them.

Here is a picture of a correct casting number w/timing marks. When I find the '72 cover, I will post a picture of that.
