Well, the goat is going back to the paint booth Saturday for the color coat. Will post back Monday with pictures if I can figure out how to post them on this new format

Here it is back from the paint booth. Hopefully today we can cut and buff and I can start putting the trim back on. The past couple of nights I have been practicing polishing the stainless trim and must say they are looking pretty darn good.

This is my version of The Great One, taken in October 2002. I have since put a 428 in it, 12-bolt rear end, and changed some other things, but not the front end. -Jesse

dennisk GREAT color! Got mine back last month, just in time for the 8" of snow and ice the night before. Took a lot of sh*t from my bodyman on why I didn't want it red, but despite his dislike of gold he did an outstanding job.

HEY I like the color????? I ONLY repaint in ORIGINAL colors. NO matter what they were. Just my Preference. BUT I figured the GOLD and BLACK was PERFECT colors!! Plus alot of the ERTIL cars are made in these colors. Mines still at the body mans shop. hes going to reinstall the glass and chrome trim. I am looking for good grills anybody got any? Need them complete!
