My 70 only has one mirror, drivers side, it is remote. Were there an option available which allowed for two "rally mirrors", or they might be called "bullet style"? If so, were they both remote, can i install these on my 70, are the drivers side holes interchangeable? i guess i would have to drill fresh holes for the passenger side. any help is always appreciated

These type mirrors weren't available until 71. I got mine off a mid 70's T/A. Normally only the drivers side is remote operated. Here is a link to what I did when putting mine on. http://www.northwestlegends.com/phpb...opic.php?t=587

455, so did your car already have two mirrors before the modification? and also, why did this require one new hole to be drilled on the passenger side, but no new hole on the drivers side?

Yes, I had a regular side view mirror on each door. I was able to use the 2 exsisting holes on the drivers side with the new mirror. The passenger side needed a new hole because the mounting locations for the base were a little different and I wanted to keep the mirrors the same distance from the front of the door. The drivers door is already pre-drilled for a remote mirror, so it should basically bolt on. I did have 2 mirrors already. My passenger side mirror base is held on with 2 sheet metal self tapping screws. The drivers side base is held with nuts and bolts.

My convert is supposed to be Atoll Blue. It is not. When I bought the car the guy told me that he thought the paint was a 95 Corvette Teal. It is a Blue-Green color thought it doesn't look like it under the flourescent lights.
