We were out of these for many months and now they are back in stock and the best quality we have ever had. They are now machined from bar stock aluminum, polished and show quality plated.

When was the last time you saw a set of these?

Chris, I see the Hurst center caps and trim rings are being reproduced. Will the rims ever be reproduced? Whats involved? The original Hurst wheels are very popular, and used they sell for a quite a bit of money. Thanks, Todd

Todd, about 2 or 3 years ago Radar(sp) wheels said they were going to do the wheel. Last year Sonic motors sent the wheel overseas to get it done. My feeling is that it would be cost prohibitive to mfg the wheel identically to the original two piece design. However, with CNC technology carving out just about every shape imaginable out of a block of aluminum, I don't see why a Hurst Wheel couldn't be produced. Someone needs to contact Radar and ask them what ever happened to that project.

A Hurst wheel reproduction is in process and quite close to release. They will be available in various sizes. The sample looks excellent. However, the wheel does not utilize the famous trim ring, rather, the rim is highly polished. Still, this is an excellent classic aftermarket wheel probably at a reasonable price. I don't have pricing yet.

Chis I recently purchase a set of restore Hurst wheels, complete with caps rings but no lug nuts. How do I know which lug nuts to use and will they be available by spring.

Are they thick shank or thin shank. I can get both but you would have to wait for a production run to take place. Maybe this winter.

thick shank are well over 1/2" thick where the lug nut attaches. Thin shank is well under a 1/2".
