going to install a super t-10 in my 69 bird. I understand I will not be able to use the 4 speed concel with this trans because the shifter will come out in a diffrent location. Has any one put one of these into there car and where did the shifter come out compared to the factory location.

should be ok,trans is about a inch longer than the stock muncie.Tom

I put one in my '67 and used a generic Hurst shifter. The handle came out a little more forward and to the right than the original but the floor did not have to be cut. I think you could get a handle that would work or modify one to work.
