Tim,

I remember seeing those cars sitting outside fifteen years ago and just shaking my head at their condition. I'm up in Erie now so I don't make it to Lakewood very often.

Hey Kevin...more projects! Are you ever going to get your 65 GTO rolling? I am getting heavy into the Lemans now trying to be ready for Spring. Do love those early birds though...when this car is "finished" I will probably look to one of those next. Only problem is finding one not rotted over here in the rustbelt. May have to go west again. Anyway, good luck with your projects...

Red Goat, I have been busy thanks for asking. I just have not had any time and keep forgetting to post some pics of the car. I have another horror story about delivering that car to Fla. I will post a story in the lobby perhaps tonight. AND! post a picture if they are not to many pixels! I didn't figure out how to modify yet. The car came out great, customer was very happy.

The reason the guy in Colorado isn't selling is because a friend of mine bought a 72 TA from him and I bought the 1969 TA he had at the same time. My friend paid $6500.00 and I paid $10,000. We went back about 3 months later and the guy would'nt have anything to do with us. By the way the 69 was original Sold it to a guy in Flordia two years later for $24000.00

Do you know where the 70 was built,Norwood or Van Nuys?A Van Nuys T/A would be a rare Bird.
As far as which on to keep I would keep the 70.The Lucerne Blue 4-speed car is a good find.Reasons why you should keep it are as follows...
Last year for the high compression 400
Last year for the 12 bolt
First year of the second gen Firebirds
Its orginal as opposed to the 71
But I am a little biased,I picked up a 70 T/A on 1990 for $5000 and I still have it.Right now I am in the process of putting a stroked 455 and with a reverse valve body Turbo 400 into her ect..Good luck on your decision.
