Brain freeze on my part' the cooler lines for a th 400 Is the output line the top connection on the trans or the bottom

Doesnt really make a difference as far as cooler operation, but I am pretty sure the top is the pressure side. If you really want to find out, pull one line and turn the motor and see where it comes out. With a full converter it doesnt take much to get the fluid to seep a bit.
