Last one...
I know, she's the wrong year model, but the wheel well dimensions are roughly the same I believe. More disc brake options are available if you go with 15" wheels all around. I went with SSBC front discs, FWIW.

I can send a pic. This rear size is perfect with no rubbing. 275/60/R15 Fills the rear well and looks fierce with no rubbing.

I think I would need 5" B.S. to fit those on mine, but, if they fit, I'll bet they do look good.

My '65 had bigger wheel well opening than my '67, I'm pretty sure.
That said, when you are buying and checking the tires for rub and fit, don't forget they go up and down. In other words the sidewall of the tires are usually/always wider than the area closer to the tread near the WW lip, and although mine looked good the first time I installed them, and didn't rub on a brief test ride, once I got them home and drove a few more miles over real world terrain , I found I had to rework the lip of my wheel well about 1/2". I'd look for 5" BS, if I had it to do over. Or else I could have gone with smaller tires, but...Naahh. Without power steering, and with a 13" steering wheel, I wasn't really wanting to wrestle with 15"ers yet. Maybe I'll reconsider once I get my WS6 PS installed. Do your fronts ever rub when you back out of a driveway while you are turning? I had that with my '65 real bad running old 775x14's and on the '67 until I put on new springs. I'd hate to spend a bunch on tires and wheels only to slice my new tires up the first time I backed out of the driveway. Are you running 15's all the way around without scraping?? Can we get a better picture of Missus Newt??
