This is my first post so I hope it goes ok! I recently purchased a 67 GTO and have replaced the trunk and rear panel due to excessive rust. The metal dash panel will also be replaced. When the front and rear glass was removed it became obvious that the channels were rusted beyond repair. Someone had previously fiberglassed them.
It would appear I need a new roof complete with the pillars. Having never attempted this-how difficult and what are the potential pitfalls to watch out for. Thanks!

Instead of putting a new roof on , why don't you weld in new window channels . It's alot easier . Just a thought .

Welding in new channels would be good. Are channels available or do they have to be fabricated?
