I am looking for input regarding replacing the seat padding in my 67 bucket seats...I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had experience and can reccomend the best source. I see that PY, Year One, Ames and Original Parts Group all offer the foam padding. Are they all made by the same supplier? Which one would you reccomend from your experience. Thanks

There are two companies that have made molds for this padding. Both are nice quality, both are very hard to work with if you are not experienced with this type of installation. One of the biggest problems we get is "too fat". The instructions require that you remove the old original horsehair padding in addition to the foam before installing the new. That improves fit and look dramatically.

Thanks, I have a local professional ready to install the new padding. Which manufacturer do you recomend?

We use a company called Arizona GM Classics but the other company that makes a molded pad is also a quality product.
