Does anyone know where I can find a front valance (panel under front bumper) for my 75 Formula? It does'nt matter to me if it's repo or origional. As I understand it one from a 74' Bird will work as well, as long as I remove the parking lights. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried Classic Industries yet? I seem to remember them having a repop of this.

74-75 are identical with the exception of the parking light/turn signals. Once you remove the turn signals, your original "louvers"(sp) will screw in the exact same holes. You can still come across these on occasion at all types of swap meets. May sure you poke around the vendors that do NOT have a lot of Pontiac parts. That's were I found mine. What we consider gold, these guys consider junk. I even bought a like new warrior intake from a chebby guy one time for $175.
If you ever come across a front bumper in decent shape, make sure you buy it! They are next to impossible to find. Good luck in your search. Thanks PERFORMANCE YEARS PONTIAC for your contributions to our race series! www.outlawpontiacs.com |
