Sometime ago I remember a discussion about installing a coil over kit in a T/A and I beleive it was the QA1 kit. It talked about wheather to use the small block or big block kit in the T/A. I assume the difference is the spring rates.

I plan to put a kit in mine but don't know which to use. Engine is a 400 but weight has been removed from engine compartment. Including air conditioning, inner fenders etc. At least a good 100 lbs. or more has come off.

I also plan on getting the front of the car as low as possible and figure the kit is the best way to dial it like I want. I plan to use the street kit and not the race version.

Anyone have experience with this kit or any ideas?

Phil

I am running them on my 73 formula and there is one for a pontiac but I don't remember the number, if you call them they can tell you. Nobody lists pontiac stuff because its usually chevy guys that are buying it. As for the weight in the front you will just have to adjust the spring lower on the shock to get your desired ride height. Sweet set up.

I did just the front and didn't have any problems, I did however use the global west control arms. I think that I paid 460.00 for the hole set.
