I'm finally going to go for "Power Steeering" in my '67 Tempest Convt. She's only a 6, but may be she'll get a V8 someday. But for now with decent sized radials she is a handful to park.
My Dilemma: Having driven a '67 or two with original power steering, I know I don't want that. Everything else is pretty well set up, and I'm thinking Trans-Amish. Which steering box will get me closest to that??

Look around. Lotta threads on here about that already. Don't feel like typing it all in again.

If you replace the box, get a fast ratio box. This will be about 3 turns lock to lock. This makes a turn around a corner within one rotation of the steering wheel.

That's what I'm looking for, along with a minimum of downtime.
