Well after over a year from our crankshaft failure (long story) it's back together. Thanks to RSB Motor-sports for the great job fixing the crankshaft and assembly of long block. We took it down to BDS in Whittier for a final tuning of the FAST ECU on the dyno and damn was I surprised. Our final numbers were 467 HP@480 ft/lbs of torque at the rear wheels. Here is the screen shot of the graph and the numbers. Also a link to a short video of the last run in 4th up to 6000 RPM and with the 2.78's in the rear 163MPH.
Thanks to PMDRACER for all the help, manifold and the video.

Drove the beast one day and broke it again! If it weren't for bad luck id have no luck at all.

It seems the dyno runs killed the 2.78 open rear end we use for the high speed road rallies. Started making a gut wrenching grinding sound on the way back from the SCGG club meeting. Nursed it home at 40mph for about 20 miles sweating it all the way. I was sure the drive shaft was going to fly out at any second. Probably should have call AAA but I just didn't want it on a hook again.

We pulled the cover off Saturday and discovered the pin that the 2 spider gears are held in with had sheared the retainer bolt and was now coming out. As it flopped from side to side it was grinding off the top 1/4" of the pinion gear. Pin is now about 1" shorter than it should be. I will try to post a pic later.

Clean up an old 3.23 open and put it back in the car. Back on the road again! For how long, who knows.

If you ain't breakin parts you ain't trying hard enough.

Don't worry Jack. I'll come pick up the car and put it in my garage. That way it will live for at least a week. LOL.
