74 T.A. Interior
I need to buy door panels for my 74 T.A., my trim tag says TR 208 A51, what does it mean? Apparently the seats were originally white on my car, now they're black so is the whole interior, am I supposed to get deluxe interior door panels and seat covers, is there only 1 white for 74?

In the earlier Birds, 208 was for the standard black seats.
A51 means bucket seats. I thought 74 used a different style number than the 208 style number.

My '74 has black interior and the trim code is 596/A51. Now, when I first got the car, I wrote down all the info I could find and my notes indicate that "A51" means "Front Strato Bucket Seats" and that "596" translates into "Black Combo". I wish I could remember where I got that from because I can't find it anywhere now.
Gary Lisk's Trans Am page doesn't show it unless it means "mixed Morokide and Vinyl"... http://www.iwaynet.net/~gl&lisk/1974ta.html ... but still, "596" doesn't show up on the chart and niether does "208" for that matter...

596 is black custom interior.
The trim number is 961, which somehow the factory drops the 1 and adds a 5 to the beginning for the trim tag.

I swear, I think they did that kind of stuff just to confuse us thirty years later.
