Lightbulb Swapping Rears

Donor Car:73 Grand Prix
Recieving Car: 66 Catalina Conv.

I'm looking to swap the rear from the donor, any issues involved.

What about Master Cylinder & Booster?

Can anyone help me with a short list of exchangeable parts?

Thanks All

Pretty sure that won't work at all, not unless you're planning on cutting and welding all the brackets. Not that I'm an expert on big cars, but the '65-'70 Pontiac B-body rears are the only ones I've ever heard of that will match up--the GP is an A/G-body. The wheel bolt pattern is different as well.

The rears won't swap, very different.

Not sure on the master/booster.

These two cars don't have a lot in common chassis-wise, the brake and suspension parts really won't interchange between the two.

Thanks Much,
The GP was originally a project that is more of a money pit than anything.
I'm taking the eng/trans and whatever else could work. I hate to let a nice posi rear go...

It's an 8.5" gearset. Pull the gears and carrier and sell them alone.

I'm the guy Mike spoke of in the above post. I am looking for a 2.93-3.23 posi for my 76 GP. I sent you a private message to that effect too.
Thanks, Dave

P.S. Glad to hear you are back after your accident.
